Job Summary
A privately-owned food manufacturer & distributor is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Manager to lead operations for a 48,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution site. This is a true player-coach role overseeing daily facility maintenance operations, vendor management, and a small technical team.

Team & Scope
- Lead 3
Mechanics + 1 Coordinator
- Dotted-line
oversight of custodial staff
- Manage
outsourced refrigeration, electrical, and grounds vendors
What You'll Do
- Oversee
building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and daily maintenance
- Ensure
safety, cleanliness, and facility readiness
- Manage
vendors, contracts, and service quality
- Support
budgeting, compliance, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, fire codes)
- Coordinate
small projects, office moves, and facility upgrades
- Serve
as the primary point of contact for all facility-related needs
What You Bring
- 7+ years in facilities, plant, or distribution center maintenance
- Strong
vendor/contractor management experience
- Knowledge
of building systems and maintenance processes
- Ability
to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Supervisory
experience preferred; CMMS and OSHA certifications a plus
