What?s the Role
The CDL-A Company Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer combination unit to deliver no-touch, temperature-controlled (reefer) freight across our regional network. This role matters because it keeps fresh food moving reliably from our facilities to customers across the Northeast and, occasionally, the Midwest and Southeast. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, dependable professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean driving record, follows DOT regulations closely, and is comfortable balancing daily or every-other-day home time with occasional longer regional trips.
What You?ll Own
Operate a tractor-trailer combination unit safely across regional routes, primarily in the Northeast with occasional runs to the Midwest and Southeast
Deliver no-touch, temperature-controlled (reefer) freight on schedule and in compliance with company standards
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and road-ready
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with Federal, State, and DOT regulations
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or equipment issues
Uphold a clean driving record by adhering to safe driving practices at all time
What You Bring
Valid CDL-A Driver?s License, maintained in good standing in your state of residence
2 years of experience operating a combination unit (tractor-trailer)
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and DOT regulations
Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including DOT physical and drug screen
No more than a combination of 3 minor moving violations or accidents
Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds
Willingness to be away from home for occasional 3 4 day trips as needed
Military experience welcomed and encouraged to apply
